This project aims to develop an advanced solution for the inspection and structural diagnosis of maritime-port infrastructures, based on the integration of robotics, artificial intelligence and digital data management. The initiative aims to reinforce the safety, operational efficiency and sustainability of underwater inspection work through a technological approach geared towards automation, remote monitoring and data-based decision-making.<\/p>\n

Within this framework, the project envisages the coordinated development of a remotely operated underwater vehicle (ROV) and an unmanned surface vehicle (USV), so that the system can address both underwater information gathering and navigation, logistical support, deployment and surface recovery functions. This integrated architecture will enable progress towards more autonomous, safer and more efficient operations in complex port and coastal environments.<\/p>\n

The solution will also incorporate intelligent image analysis capabilities for the automatic detection of structural pathologies, as well as three-dimensional reconstruction and advanced visualisation tools to facilitate the technical assessment of the inspected assets. Overall, the project aims to contribute to the digitisation of the maritime-port sector, to improve the preventive maintenance of critical infrastructures and to promote a more sustainable and scalable inspection model aligned with the challenges of European innovation and competitiveness.<\/p>\n
