TOURISM WASTE MANAGEMENT IN COASTAL AREAS
Objectives
Tourist activity generates a large amount of urban waste that has a negative impact on marine ecosystems and on the quality of life of residents and visitors. This challenge poses the development of a practical and preventive solution that acts before the waste reaches the natural environment.
In response to this need, OCEAN E-CLEAN was born, a project that offers an autonomous and circular solution to respond to oil spills in ports and coastal areas.
